| " I feel my work has a "soul" and beauty of things simple, imperfect, impermanent, incomplete, and unconventional. It is the beauty of things humble and modest, where corrosion and contamination make the expression richer. My work is made of materials that are visibly vulnerable to the effects of weathering and human treatment. The record of the sun, wind, rain, heat, and cold create a language of discoloration. Rust, tarnish, stain, warping, shrinking, and cracking are my pallet. There is a poise and character to this natural aging process that brings life to my work." Dennis Hare |

" Ema's Herbs are plants for problem-solving. Prepared fresh as a soothing hot cup of tea, Ema's Herbs help to detoxify, cleanse, nourish, relieve, and calm overloaded systems gently and effectively.
Ema's perspective embraces both modern and folk medicinal approaches; after all, herbs were the first medicine used by people to ease their discomforts.
Steeping Ema's Herbs in boiling water releases their healing properties to work on the cause of the problem through the body's natural enzyme activity.
Over the years, Ema has created special herb blends from plant leaves, stems, flowers, roots, seeds, and bark to synergistically assist healing in a traditional way. "

The creation of art is not the fulfillment of a need but the creation of a need. The world never needed Beethoven's Fifth Symphony until he created it. Now we could not live without it. Louis I Kahn |
